These Terms & Conditions apply to workshops, products, gift cards, digital content and other services purchased from Culto Solar.

Culto Solar is operated by Petre Studios – Teodora Petre, Wehntalerstrasse 457, 8046 Zürich, Switzerland.

The legal business address is not the workshop location. Unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation, workshops take place at Open Space, Seebahnstrasse 155, 8003 Zürich, Switzerland.

By placing an order or booking a workshop, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Prices and payment

All prices are displayed in Swiss francs unless otherwise stated.

Payment is required at the time of purchase. A booking or product order is confirmed only after successful payment and confirmation from Culto Solar.

Any tax charged directly by Culto Solar will be shown during checkout.

Culto Solar may correct obvious pricing, description or technical errors. If an error affects an order that has already been placed, the customer may cancel the affected order and receive a refund.

2. Workshop bookings

Workshop places are limited and are reserved for the date and time shown in the booking confirmation.

Customers are responsible for checking the workshop date, time and location before completing their booking.

Please arrive on time. Late arrival may reduce the time available to complete the workshop and cannot always be accommodated.

Unless Culto Solar agrees otherwise in writing, workshop bookings cannot be transferred to another person.

3. Workshop cancellations and changes

Workshop bookings are non-refundable.

A booking may be rescheduled once when the customer contacts Culto Solar at least seven days before the workshop. Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be completed within the period communicated by Culto Solar.

Requests received fewer than seven days before the workshop, late arrivals and non-attendance are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

If Culto Solar must cancel or reschedule a workshop, the customer will be offered a new date or a refund for the affected booking. Culto Solar is not responsible for unrelated travel, accommodation or other expenses.

These conditions do not limit any mandatory rights provided by applicable consumer law.

4. Workshop participation and safety

Customers must follow all safety instructions provided by Culto Solar and use tools, flames, materials and equipment only as instructed.

Culto Solar may refuse or stop participation when a person’s behaviour creates a safety risk, seriously disrupts the workshop or threatens another participant or member of staff. No refund is due where participation is stopped for these reasons.

Children or participants below the stated minimum age may attend only where this has been agreed with Culto Solar in advance and any required adult supervision is provided.

Customers must inform Culto Solar before the workshop about relevant allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions or accessibility requirements. Culto Solar will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these requirements but cannot guarantee that every requirement can be met.

5. Handmade results

Jewelry made during workshops or with Culto Solar kits is handmade. Results will naturally vary in appearance, dimensions, texture, finish and strength.

Examples shown online, in workshops or in course materials are illustrative and do not guarantee an identical result.

Customers are responsible for following the instructions, using appropriate amounts of material and firing and finishing their pieces correctly.

6. Photography and video during workshops

Culto Solar may photograph or record workshops for documentation and promotional purposes.

Customers may tell the Culto Solar team before or during the workshop if they do not want to appear in photographs or video. Culto Solar will respect that request.

7. Gift cards

Gift cards may be used only for eligible Culto Solar purchases and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Gift cards must be used before any expiry date communicated at purchase, subject to mandatory applicable law.

Lost, stolen or incorrectly entered gift-card codes may not be replaceable. Gift cards cannot be used to purchase another gift card unless Culto Solar expressly allows it.

8. Silver Studio Kits and other products

The Silver Studio Kit contains tools and materials intended for creative use by adults or under suitable adult supervision.

Customers must read and follow all written and video safety instructions before using the kit.

Torches, flames, hot firing surfaces, sharp tools and small components must be handled carefully. Products must be kept away from children and animals.

The customer is responsible for providing any additional equipment or fuel identified in the instructions and for confirming that the kit can be used safely and legally in their location.

Culto Solar is not responsible for unsuccessful pieces, damaged materials or personal property damage resulting from failure to follow the instructions, improper use, modification of the products or use for an unintended purpose.

Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Shipping

Orders are dispatched from Switzerland.

Estimated dispatch and delivery times are not guaranteed. Customs processing, carrier delays, adverse weather and other circumstances outside Culto Solar’s control may affect delivery.

Shipping is included for deliveries to Switzerland and the European destinations supported at checkout.

Shipping to the United States and all other available destinations outside Europe costs CHF 25 per order unless a different amount is displayed at checkout.

The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional costs caused by an incorrect address, refused delivery or failure to collect a parcel may be charged to the customer.

Risk passes to the customer in accordance with applicable law. Customers should contact Culto Solar promptly if an order arrives damaged or does not arrive within a reasonable period.

10. Customs, import VAT and local taxes

International orders may be subject to import VAT, customs duties, clearance costs or carrier handling fees imposed by the destination country.

For deliveries outside Switzerland, these charges are the customer’s responsibility unless Culto Solar expressly states that a particular charge has been prepaid.

For US orders, Culto Solar prepays the import charges billed through its shipping service. These prepaid import charges do not necessarily include US state or local sales or use taxes. Any tax collected directly by Culto Solar will be shown at checkout. Other charges imposed directly on the recipient may still apply.

For European and other international destinations, import VAT, customs duties and carrier handling fees may be charged to the customer on or before delivery.

Culto Solar does not control how foreign authorities or carriers calculate these charges and cannot guarantee the amount.

Refusing a shipment because of import charges does not automatically create a right to a full refund. Any permitted refund may be reduced by the original shipping cost, return shipping cost, customs charges and other non-recoverable costs, subject to mandatory consumer law.

11. Product returns, damage and refunds

Customers must contact Culto Solar before returning a product.

Unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise, used, opened, incomplete, personalised or hygiene-sensitive products cannot be returned.

Digital course access and digital materials cannot be returned after access has been provided, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

If a product arrives damaged, defective or materially different from the order, the customer should contact Culto Solar promptly and provide the order number, a description and clear photographs.

Where a return is accepted, the product must be returned in the condition and packaging specified by Culto Solar. Refunds are issued after the returned product has been received and inspected.

Original shipping charges, return shipping, customs charges and taxes are non-refundable unless the product was defective, the wrong product was supplied or applicable law requires otherwise.

12. Personal, non-commercial use and intellectual property

Culto Solar workshops, kits, course materials and related content are supplied for the customer’s personal, non-commercial use.

All Culto Solar names, trademarks, photographs, videos, text, illustrations, designs, course materials, worksheets, instructions, molds, packaging artwork and other original materials remain the property of Culto Solar or their respective rights holders.

Customers may make jewelry for their own use or as personal gifts.

Without prior written permission from Culto Solar, customers must not:

• record, reproduce, distribute, sell or publish Culto Solar course or workshop materials;

• provide another person with access to paid videos or digital materials;

• copy or commercially reproduce Culto Solar’s protected designs, molds, packaging, photographs, videos, text or teaching materials;

• teach, sell, license or commercially offer a workshop, course or kit substantially based on Culto Solar’s confidential materials or protected content;

• present Culto Solar materials, photographs, videos or designs as their own;

• use a workshop or purchase primarily to obtain Culto Solar’s protected materials or confidential business information for a competing commercial offering.

General skills, independently developed ideas and techniques that are not protected by law remain subject to applicable intellectual-property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers Culto Solar’s intellectual-property rights to the customer.

Culto Solar may take appropriate action where its protected materials, confidential information or contractual rights are used without permission.

13. Customer content

If a customer sends photographs, reviews or other content to Culto Solar, the customer confirms that they have the right to provide it.

Culto Solar will request permission before using identifiable customer-created content for advertising unless that permission has already been clearly provided.

14. Privacy

Personal information is processed for order fulfilment, workshop administration, customer support, payments, legal compliance and communications selected by the customer.

Payment information is processed by Culto Solar’s payment-service providers and is subject to their security and privacy practices.

Customers may contact Culto Solar regarding their personal information using the contact details on the website.

15. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Culto Solar is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, loss of income, loss of business, travel expenses or losses caused by events outside its reasonable control.

Culto Solar’s liability relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for that purchase, except where a different limitation is required by mandatory law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

16. Changes to these Terms

Culto Solar may update these Terms when its products, services, checkout, shipping arrangements or legal obligations change.

The version applying to an order is normally the version available when the order was placed.

17. Severability

If one provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.

18. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply in the customer’s country of residence.

The courts at Culto Solar’s registered place of business have jurisdiction unless mandatory law requires another jurisdiction.
