Terms & Conditions (AGB)

All Culto Solar workshops take place at Open Space, Seebahnstrasse 155, 8003 Zürich, unless otherwise stated in your booking confirmation.

Culto Solar is operated by Petre Studios – Teodora Petre, Wehntalerstrasse 457, 8046 Zürich, Switzerland. This is the registered legal address, not the workshop address.

By booking a Culto Solar workshop, purchasing a Culto Solar kit, buying a gift card, or participating in a Culto Solar experience, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Booking and payment

Bookings are made through our website or by written confirmation via email.

Your spot is confirmed only once payment has been received in full. Private bookings are confirmed only after payment has been received in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Workshop prices include instruction, standard materials, and firing where applicable. Additional options or extras, such as shipping, extra gemstones, upgraded materials, or special add-ons, may be charged separately.

Cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows

If you need to cancel, please contact us by email at hello@cultosolar.com as early as possible.

For public workshops, cancellations made at least 48 hours before the workshop are eligible for full credit toward a future session. Monetary refunds are not offered unless the workshop is cancelled by Culto Solar.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the workshop, no-shows, and late arrivals are not eligible for a refund or credit, except in special circumstances, which Culto Solar may consider individually at its discretion.

If you arrive late, we may not be able to extend the workshop or complete all planned steps. In this case, the booking remains non-refundable.

Private workshops and group bookings may have separate cancellation, rescheduling, and payment terms agreed by email or invoice. If no separate terms are agreed, the terms on this page apply.

If Culto Solar needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to illness, venue issues, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered either a full refund or a new date.

Workshop participation

Workshops are for private, personal participation only.

Workshops are open to participants aged 16 and older. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Each participant is responsible for following the workshop safety instructions. Culto Solar is not liable for injuries, accidents, allergic reactions, or damage to personal belongings except in cases of gross negligence or intent.

The creative process

Each piece is handmade by you. Natural variations, imperfections, uneven textures, small marks, fingerprints, slight size changes, color differences, or material quirks may occur and are part of the handmade process. These are not considered defects.

For workshops where pieces are fired after the session, your jewelry will usually be ready for pickup or delivery within approximately 1-2 weeks, unless otherwise stated. Timing may vary depending on firing schedules, material behavior, holidays, or operational circumstances.

We take care during firing and polishing, but minor changes in size, shape, texture, or color may occur due to the nature of the material and the handmade process.

Photography and video

We may photograph or film workshops, the studio atmosphere, hands, tools, materials, and the pieces created during the session for social media, website, marketing, or internal content.

If you prefer not to appear in photo or video content, please let us know at the beginning of the workshop.

We may still photograph or film the jewelry or pieces you create, unless you request otherwise.

Gift cards and vouchers

Gift cards and vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.

Gift cards and vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Gift cards may be used for available Culto Solar workshops or eligible products, depending on the type of gift card purchased and the options available at the time of booking.

Kits and product use

Culto Solar Kits including Silver Studio and Golden Studio are intended for private, personal creative use only.

Please follow the included instructions carefully. Culto Solar is not responsible for damage, injury, unsatisfactory results, failed pieces, or material loss caused by improper use, unsafe handling, use of unsuitable equipment, or failure to follow the instructions.

Kits may contain small parts, tools, gemstones, materials, polishing items, firing materials, or other components that should be kept away from young children and pets.

If firing, heating, polishing, or tool use is involved, the customer is responsible for using the recommended equipment safely and in a suitable environment.

Results may vary depending on handling, drying time, firing, heating, polishing, and other user-controlled factors. Handmade variations, surface marks, slight warping, shrinkage, unevenness, or unexpected results are part of the process and are not considered product defects.

Culto Solar kits are not toys and should not be used by children without responsible adult supervision.

Shipping and customs

Shipping times are estimates and may vary depending on the destination, carrier, customs clearance, stock availability, holidays, and local delivery conditions.

For international orders, customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or local handling fees may apply depending on the destination country. These charges are not included in our product or shipping prices and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Culto Solar is not responsible for delays caused by customs, incorrect delivery information, failed delivery attempts, missed pickups, or carrier-related issues outside our control.

The customer is responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. If a parcel is returned due to incorrect delivery information, failed delivery attempts, or non-collection, additional shipping fees may apply.

Returns and product refunds

Because Culto Solar kits and creative materials may include curated components, tools, consumable materials, packaging, and hygiene-sensitive or use-sensitive items, returns are only accepted where required by applicable consumer protection law.

Opened, used, damaged, incomplete, or partially consumed kits cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective in a way covered by applicable law.

If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us by email within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue.

Intellectual property

All workshop materials, instructions, techniques, methods, sample pieces, visual setups, props, photography, videos, branding, kit instructions, kit structure, packaging concepts, designs, educational materials, and related content shared in connection with Culto Solar remain the property of Culto Solar / Petre Studios unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, teach, copy, adapt, reverse engineer, benchmark for commercial purposes, record for commercial use, publish as your own, commercialize, or use any part of the workshop format, kit format, materials, visual presentation, instructions, packaging concept, designs, or content to create, support, or improve competing workshops, classes, kits, tutorials, products, or other commercial offerings without prior written permission from Culto Solar / Petre Studios.

Purchasing or participating in a Culto Solar workshop, kit, or experience does not grant permission to use Culto Solar materials, formats, methods, visuals, designs, packaging concepts, or educational content for commercial teaching, resale, product development, competitor benchmarking, or competing business purposes.

Privacy and data protection

We collect only the personal data necessary for booking, order processing, shipping, customer support, and communication, such as your name, email address, phone number, billing details, and shipping address where applicable.

Your data will not be sold to third parties. It may only be shared where necessary to process your booking, order, payment, shipping, or where required by law.

Liability

Participation in workshops and use of Culto Solar kits, tools, materials, and instructions is at your own risk.

Culto Solar is not responsible for accidents, allergic reactions, damage, injury, failed results, misuse of tools or materials, or damage to personal belongings except in cases of gross negligence or intent.

Customers are responsible for reading and following all safety instructions and for using any tools, firing equipment, heating equipment, polishing materials, or kit components responsibly.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law.

The place of jurisdiction is Zürich, Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
